Welcome to Somnium Infant Sleep Consultancy. By accessing and using my services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging with my infant sleep consultancy services.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using Somnium Infant Sleep Consultancy's services. My services include providing advice, recommendations, and plans related to infant sleep habits. By booking a consultation or purchasing a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

2. Services Provided

  • Somnium Infant Sleep Consultancy offers customised sleep plans and guidance for infants and children up to 5 years of age.

  • All services are intended for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. I am not medically trained.

  • Consultations may include:

    • Initial assessments of sleep habits.

    • Personalised sleep plans.

    • Follow-up support (if included in the selected package)

3. Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your child to help me create an effective sleep plan.

  • You understand and accept that implementing the provided advice is your responsibility. Consistency and commitment are key to achieving desired outcomes.

  • Sleep plans alone do not improve sleep; the parent’s role is important in following through suggested approaches and strategies with consistency to provide the greatest potential for change. I do not provide guarantees that I can resolve all sleep problems.

  • If your child has medical issues or conditions that could affect their sleep, you agree to consult a licensed healthcare provider before engaging my services.

  • You agreed to read and adhere to safe sleep practices as outlined by The Lullaby Trust and the NHS.

4. Disclaimer

  • Somnium Infant Sleep Consultancy is not a medical provider. Our recommendations are based on professional knowledge and experience but should not replace advice from a paediatrician or qualified healthcare professional. If in any doubt, please contact a qualified healthcare professional before commencing with my services.

  • I am not liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from the implementation of our advice, particularly if medical conditions or other external factors are involved.

5. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made through my official socials, website, email, or phone.

  • Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Payment options include BACS.

  • Prices are subject to change at the Company’s discretion. Clients will be notified of any changes before booking confirmation.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 3 days before the scheduled consultation will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 3 days of the consultation are non-refundable.

  • No-shows or missed appointments will not be refunded. Any rescheduling is at my discretion.

  • Refunds are not available once services have commenced. I thoroughly believe in the services I offer and success depends on your consistency and commitment.

  • If you have any concerns over my service, then please reach out to me.

7. Illness

  • Parents maintain and hold full responsibility for their child’s health throughout sleep work.

  • Delay to start: If an assessment form has been returned completed but the agreed start date of the package has been pushed back by more than 14 days; a full reassessment will be required and this will incur an additional charge of £49 to cover the time of analysing the new completed assessment form.

  • Illness: If your child becomes unwell during the duration of the support period which deeply impacts their ability to sleep, we can pause the support until such time where the child is in better health providing it is within 14 days. Anything longer and a new assessment may need to be completed and analysed, this will incur an additional charge of £49 to cover the extra time to re-assess your information and re-issue a bespoke plan. The initial assessment can still go ahead as sleep work does not need to start immediately.

  • In case of my illness, I will provide you with good notice where possible and ensure minimal disruption to our time working together.

8. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • All information shared during consultations will be treated as confidential and used solely to provide my services.

  • I comply with applicable privacy laws to protect your personal data. For details, please to review my Privacy Policy.

9. Communication and Support

  • Follow-up support is included in certain service packages and will be delivered via email/phone/video call/WhatsApp during agreed-upon hours.

  • Support is valid for the duration specified in the chosen package. Additional support may incur extra charges.

  • Additional support needs to be booked within 3 days of your package ending.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Somnium Infant Sleep Consultancy disclaims any liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services.

  • The Company’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

11. Intellectual Property

  • All sleep plans, materials, and resources provided by Somnium Infant Sleep Consultancy are the intellectual property of the Company.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without prior written consent.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Somnium Infant Sleep Consultancy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes will be resolved in England
